Why the FUCK is this guy not the main director of the series? He fixed gen 3 by directing Emerald, was in charge of game design for Platinum, then dropped the masterpiece that was HGSS. Even if you don't like gen 3 or 4, without Chad-chan here those gens would be MUCH worse. He clearly knows what he's doing and is a much better fit than Masuda and the current Shigeru assface director they have.
