I like to have more control over who and how much exp on my party gains. Having a pokémon that needs few exp points to level up and one that needs a lot in the same party can create a total imbalance on their levels and I like to use all my mons equally.

So I haven't played LPGE so I dunno how this works exactly, but won't this fuck really hard with EV training ? Not being able to choose when a certain mon gets EVs is pretty fucking damaging if you ask me

As far as I remember they only had AVs which was kinda IVs and EVs combined that you could raise with candies and hyper training? I don't think you could reset it, either.
Only borrowed the game and couldn't play much past credits, but that's how I remember it.

If berries are a huge thing in SwSh because of the Wild Area, you can reset the EVs pretty easily, I think.

I hate not being able to control my pokemon EVs, even on an in-game team, i will switch my first pokemon accordingly if I'm pretty sure I'm facing a goldeen for attack EVs, or if I'm in a ghost tower I'll switch to a special attacker in front. I'm more autistic than others but this matters immensely to me. Getting the same EVs on my whole team will fuck me over.
