Mine might be Gen 3.

Alola for a lot of reasons. The new pokemon are closer to yokai watch monsters, too many blocked off areas,etc. Also if you wanted to fix XY you can keep most things the same while fixing SM requires a complete face lift

Alola. It feels pretty lame and lacking in terms of original and fantastical places. The only place i really liked was Po Town.

Yes, GF is terrible at 3D anything. Should have stuck with sprites, even if they weren't good with them either.

I like how the game has varied environments, such as the desert and the underwater parts.

I really like the Pokémon designs (subjective taste), I like the gym leaders and Emerald's Battle Frontier especially. The music is nice, and the visuals aren't bad either.

I understand why people may not like Gen 3, outside of the people who solely hate it because you can't connect from Gen 2 to Gen 3 when the games first came out

Anyway my last favourite region is 6.

Now, Alola may suck, that's not the case for Kalos :
>Lumiose city is perhaps one of the most memorable cities in the entire franchise and the only one where you could actually get lost.
