Shiny Celebi is also pretty rad but there hasn't been even a single event whete they distributed it shiny. So even if you're an injectfag you're shit out of luck.

I also recall that one time a dude who went full autism couldn't transfer his legit shiny Mew from Emerald because the game thought it was hacked.

You could always shiny breed an evvee in VC gen 2 and clone it to get all the shiny eeveelutions in one.

It has to do with how early shinies were generated, but I don't know the specifics offhand. Pretty sure it's the same reason for lackluster shinies like those of the Pichu line, too.

They picked an awful shade of green. Would be much better as an aqua/teal color to properly emulate Carbuncle, even if this was something unintentional since I'm pretty sure the initial shiny sprites were all created by haphazardly changing hue values or palettes.
