How badly will breeding become? Relearning egg groups and having to have a poke with perfect IV's for each group will be tedious, but doable, I think. It will make breeding for all of Sw/Sh 4x longer. Thoughts?

Ditto only exists to make breeding easier. They’re obviously gonna include it like every other gen before this one

You can also upgrade the IVs along with EVs now to the max easy.

Well, all pokemon are available on every other game before, but that's not the case with SwSh

Former breedie here. I'm never gonna breed again even if they make it even easier. Now that I know that my efforts might be fully wasted in the next Gen while my Mons stay behind in Pokémon retirement Home. I'm gonna Just Inject everything. Why go trough the effort of it's not rewarded? I spent a lot of time Masuda Methoding(ironically) a Shiny Weedle. After boxes full of Weedles It finally hatches. It missed a perfect IV in attack, but the rest were 31. But hey, i had a bottlecap with its name on it. Grinded it all the way to lv100, which is kinda painful in SM(rip Blissey bases)
I was so fucking happy. And now they just took its Mega away. All that for fucking nothing. Yeah I have a Shiny Beedrill, but what am I gonna do with it? It can just join my collection of shinies that don't have a use. Just sitting there in a box.
Fuck this show. Fuck Masuda.

stings me as well anon... it was the same with my bagon, hit all 31 IVs except in Defense it had 18 after a least 23 boxes of bagons, got 7 perfect IVs in the process, after a tedious grind on the pokemon league (would sometimes nitpick the champion battle by resetting) also, fuck the silly animation when you take 3 steps in each elite 4 room, those animations would almost take as much as the battles.

And now even if my bro get's in, he won't go mega 100%...

It will be pre-FRLG Gen 3 all over again.
Having no Ditto in the regional dex or from a previous gen makes breeding a real hassle
Pokemon with 7:1 gender ratios finally live up to their rare status at least

I think they will make breeding/making competitive mons easier again just like in every previous generation at least.

If they want to make something easier, it would actually be breeding/making comp mons, maybe even go as far as having some kind of battle simulator thingy where you can just make your mons for competitive or something.

shinies are fucking ruined anyway, the only proper way to have shinies was only by random encounters with the 1/4000 chance. Otherwise it became boring as fuck and shinies lost their value completely.
