>>39258044That's exactly it though, it's because they deliberately chose the thing that took the least amount of devtime that makes it lazy. Almost like no one wanted this and the last thing Pokemon needs is a stupid gimmick that's going to be thrown in the trash next gen on top of the removal of Megas.
This has been a constant problem with Gamefreak, like who they removed DexNav, VS Seeker, Battle Frontier, ect. Once again they've cut a feature people have enjoyed and replaced it with a worse version instead of improving upon something people liked.
Dynamax fucking sucks and is the definition of pointless feature bloat, if Gen 8 introduced more regional forms on top of Megas for Pokemon who actually need them, I guarantee people would be more hype.
