Yes, I understand GF's gross incompetence but my 3 favorite Pokemon are already confirmed to be in it so I don't care about your shitty Swanna or whatever.
And no, it's not the game the Switch deserves but I know I'll enjoy myself anyway.

Gamefreak never plans on adding the Nat dex back again, this means that every Pokemon game after this is going to have a rotating door if available Pokemon, i.e the Pokemon that aren't in this game will be available for the next game, but the Pokemon that are in this game are more likely to be cut next game.
All your bros are confirmed, but they aren't safe. Come next game they can get cut and will be trapped on a now obsolete SnS unless you want to give GF money for Home where they'll be imprisoned till GF feels like selling them back to you.

As soon as you start thinking longterm you realize how shitty this is for everyone.

Fine OP, I still wont argue with you about buying but I can share my reason for avoiding swish.

To be brief about it looks like a 3ds port. It has yet another shitty battle mechanic that will be used for a short time and then tossed away for potentially another gimmick mechanic in a future release, maybe they'll call it transcendence or some shit. And lastly like all are complaining about is that not all pokemon can be in the game.

I don't care as much about this as others do but if I can't make a creative VGC team then there is nothing more I can enjoy out of these games made in the last 10 years or so. The fact that it is an engine port is the worst in my mind.

Except we aren't safe from shitmons in the Dex. We already have the Vanillite line, the Caterpie line, the Trubbish line, etc. People who think only shitmons will get cut are going to be in for a rude awakening. And at the very least buy it used. If you really think GF is incompetent then don't give them your money. It's what I'm going to do. Like you, I know for sure that I will have fun playing the game. But i still don't want to give GF my money. I know it won't matter in the long run. I don't see it as an epic boycott or whatever. I simply don't want to pay GF for doing less than the bare minimum.

Easy solution: pirate it.
Or buy it used if you can't hack your console/can't wait until yuzu is good enough. but pirating it is a better solution than getting it used
