Personally, I can see Litleo as a fire/normal cause it's an ordinary lion that has nothing much special about it. Its color scheme is also designed around "normal" and fire colors. For that reason, Growlithe and Ponyta lines could also easily pass as fire/normal as they are simple ordinary designs (Ok, Arcanine is arguable but it can pass anyway)
I can't see why Helioptile line has a /normal typing though. Sure, it's a lizard and not much more, but its design really just seems pure electric to me, as pure as any pikaclone ever
Stufful and Bewear? My first thought was fighting/fairy or fairy when looking at the design, but somehow they got the /normal slapped onto them. Why? Is it because they are living stuffed toys? If anything, that makes them "magical" aka fairy.
