until they told us they're going Trash Go and mobile because they did what we wanted and obviously we didn't want it - because there was definitely not anyone telling them up front they didn't want this and to delay, right but I expect more like 12 million.
The one after that will likely sell more like that if they keep up with it and don't go full Trash Go mode though. THey'll have burned all of the returning and new players from Trash Go by making a not Trash Go game in between.
They'll want more of Trash Go, not the normal main series so Sword and Shield will likely burn that bridge (this being one of the reasons it was dumb to make a game LESS like the main series to try to recruit new players - they're going to want more of the brain dead schlock you gave them, not a game about 25 years beyond it in underlying mechanics).
I really it happens that they pull the spoiler, honestly. The moment they even imply anything like that they'll have nuked the series. Nothing is too big too fail and they will once people start seeing how much of a retard they're being treated as and start pulling all of the responses to the last decade of games in response to such a statement.
