STOP SPENDING MONEY ON MOBILE GAMES

This is literally the reason The Pokemon Company isn't allocating as much resources to the development of their mainline games anymore.

Pokemon is one massive multimedia machine, tpci demands regular releases so they have content to base other products off of, like the tcg series, anime, toys, etc. which all collectively make more money than the games. We're getting rushed unpolished yearly releases because of the mindless drones who always buy every game, both copies, the third versions, the remakes without fail. The quality has been in a slump for a while but people still buy them and so they keep pumping them out.

The quality of the main games started dropping off in gen 6, before any of the mobileshit even existed. They already proved that they could put out garbage and it would still so well, the success of the mobile stuff just proved they could get away with it with even less work than what they were already doing.

GF was always incompetent. Gen 4 was a perfect example of this. GameFreak already infused most of the stafff from Genius Sonority, so resources isn't so much the problem.

The problem is, your just realizing GF is incompetent NOW, so you scapegoat the problem towards mobile gaming.

Game Freak deserves to become irrelevant and obsolete after everything they have done since gen 6, and they keep getting worse.
I'm going to take the $60 I was going to spend on Sword and put it all in Masters and there's nothing you can do to stop me. I won't buy a Game Freak game ever again.

What if I want Pokemon to go down the same path as my favorite franchise? The fanbase as a whole woke up way too late to accomplish anything, it's far too late now. There will never be a good mainline pokemon game again. Quality has been less and less ever since XY but the fanbase as a whole continued to eat the diarrhea convinced that every game was good and worth it. The Pokemon Company created Sun and Moon just to throw the fanbase off and pretend that things were changing and were different despite being the same lazy trash with a new coat of paint. The best thing that could happen is Game Freak losing the third of The Pokemon Company they own but you know what? That literally won't happen and Masuda has realized this. Just accept Masters into your life with open arms. Eventually every trainer ever including npc classes and every pokemon will be in that game. People should stop supporting the mainline games but deep down you all know people will still support Game Freak and Masuda will continue to spend his time on vacation rather than caring. Masters though? Not only does it have soul but it's the closest we'll ever get to catching them all ever again and this time you can catch all the people too. All your favorites right there. That easy. Masters besides spinoffs is all you should support at this point, spending some money here or there on it wouldn't hurt either. Support the pokemon company not game freak

Super Mario Run didn't stop Mario Maker 2 from being good.
Fire Emblem Heroes didn't deter Intelligent Systems from making Three Houses and helping with a Musou title.

GameFreak's shit development is because GameFreak wants to profit more on their games instead of splitting revenue 3 ways. Masters on the other hand isn't GameFreak, it's a passion project from Sugimori utilizing DeNA recognizing Trainer fandom has gotten much bigger over the past two decades.

No one's asking you to play it, but people who like the human characters, waifu or not do wanna pick this shit up and some of them may spend money on it. You may not agree with how they're doing their fandom but you're in no position to say it's wrong either.
