Masters is a guaranteed success.
Any effort is futile.
The only thing you may do in order to save the main games is not buying Sword/Shield and spread the word.

I like gatcha because I never ever buy anything and like to brag about having a bunch of good shit without spending a penny. This plus my autistic pokemon knowledge will hopefully mean I'll like Masters. I hated FE: Heroes though but I think that's just because it and Awakening ruined the series by making it into a waifu simulator instead of a tactical war strategy game and not because of the gameplay, for Pokemon it was laziness that ruined it so I don't think I'll have a problem with Masters.

Not many people I think. Masters is probably going to be better and free so I think it'll have the larger playerbase. Sadly SS will mainly be fans who are too addicted to Pokemon to not buy the new games and kids.
