Should I hack Pokémon?

So I have a friend who gave me his old 3DS XL with a copy of Pokémon Ultra Moon.
I just started today, but I was wondering if it's worth it to hack it? And what are the risks?

The best part is being able to pirate games and inject legal Pokémon to your game, you won't lose any wireless capabilities (not even in pirated games).

It's pretty much just putting shit on your 3DS sd card, it isn't hard. Just takes some time.

Yes, but it literally won't change anything but simply add a menu (which you can access by pressing Start while the console powers on) and new programs in the main menu.

You can still completely uninstall it if you don't like freedom.

Actually, I don't think you can delete everything without leaving any traces, but Nintendo cannot detect them anyway

Not that Anon, so I'm not sure if it leaves anything else, but uninstalling will leave some folders in your SD card that you can delete.

I see one Reddit post of someone describing what could possibly be a Bad Egg in USUM, but Bulbapedia says that Bad Eggs haven't been a thing since Gen 6.
Just make sure that if you inject eggs you have everything right with IDs and legitimacy, there are YouTube tutorials for PKHex that should show you how. You should be fine bud, it's pretty fucking hard to brick your 3DS or corrupt your Pokemon save.
