I'm not buying the game because I havent enjoyed playing pokemon since gen 5 and I feel that the games only get lazier each gen.

With Ohmori at the head, I have zero desire to buy gen 8. Considering the big battle gimmick for this gen is literally ITJUSTGETSBIGGER, I'm really not expecting much. Pokemon has been shit for far too long and my wallet in gen 6 and 7 told them that shit's ok. I didnt buy LGPE so S/M are likely my last games. I cant think of anything they can realistically add to the game that will make me want to buy or play gen 8.

i'm not buying the game because utter trash, the game can be compared at best to wind waker graphically, a game that came out 17 years ago. the UI is hard to look at, the animations are horrible and half ass done, they cut pokemon away from the game so they can deliver "high quality graphics" but ended up delivering almost two decades old graphics, the mechanics are broken and the big pikachu is just a lazy replacement of mega evolution that will only drop the FPS on every battle

I don’t even care about the missing Pokemon, it’s the subpar quality of the game that’s put me off. Everything is shit-tier. The tree and the wingull are just the tip of the iceberg as well. The entire game looks like absolute horseshit.

We haven't even gotten a promise that between the next 2 or 3 releases all Pokemon will be usable, for all we know certain Pokemon might never appear in a main series game ever again

I'm not buying a pokemon game because it has good 3D graphics and shit, I'm buying it because I like collecting good/cute looking pokemon and battling with pokemons while progressing throughout a story. Nice 3D graphics are only a bonus.
Now the problem with this new gen is that:
-We'll have less pokemon than before
-The new pokemons look like shit for the most part (all 3 starters are ugly which is a first)
-The new battle gimmick (dynamax) seems boring as fuck
-The graphics look like shit as far as we know (and it was supposed to be one of the main selling points)
Which means I'm not really hyped and ready to buy the game if you get me.
