Cut the stronger mons and the weakest?

I thought everyone immediately saw through that excuse. In SM they banned Pokes in the meta who weren't in the Alolan dex some months. They put little symbols next to mons to show what game they were from.

They way Gamefreak lied to our faces is a major part of the reason people are pissed. If any of the reasons gave made a lick of sense maybe the fandom wouldn't be having an aneurysm right now.
