You were not meant to be able to catch them all and glitching is on par with injecting. It doesn't really count as catching.

The biggest differences with glitching and injecting is that glitching is utilizing only what you have available with the game and the console you're given, while injection is using third party software and/or hardware to catch any Pokemon you want.
It's like saying glitching is the same as cheating.

Just because it's not the Miniature Pokemania it once was doesn't mean it isn't relevant from a business perspective.
Plus, when the day comes that GO has more Pokemon than a core title that isn't LGPE that was released after GO's launch, you're gonna see a lot more people praising and playing it than what's already there now.
