Anyone who has ever made custom routes/towns with tiles knows just how easy it is to start with blank ocean and add a few rocks, and they did that for literally half of the entire region. It literally must’ve taken them a week to make the last half of Hoenn’s map, and they didn’t even bother to add good items, trainers, and Pokemon, all the Pokemon are the same low level shit, all the trainers are weak swimmers and sailors that use shitmons, and the only items you get from surfing and diving are shitty pearls and shards; all this shit makes Hoenn’s latter half garbage and not worth the exploration, I don’t even bother to play RSE anymore. The Pokemon and music are shit too, it’s all bad
