I kind of wish genders were one of the features gamefreak dropped along the way.
It's kind of annoying when the game tells me what sex a monster is and doesn't let me just imagine what I want

Pokemon eggs are canonically supposed to appear mysteriously which would actually be easier to swallow if the game wasn't telling me it only happens when i put a pokemon with a dick and a pokemon with a vagina together.

If male combee would evolve, it should do it by some weird way, like having to have a certain flower pokemon in your party, lore being something like overriding his loyalty to the nest and queen to loyalty to the flower. Something like a Parasect.
