How come Game Freak don't care about us anymore? I know it's a children's series, but the games used to care about both groups. SwSh seems to be moving toward driving away old fans. It's sad.

GameFreak is too busy chasing the common masses and children who don't know any better to give a fuck about longtime fans unless said longtime fans are vapid nostalgiafags who only care about the Original 151.
The Pokemon Company on the other hand knows that there's still a market to be had in the form of longtime fans, but because they're also Elder Jew Gods, they're making that market happen in the form of mobile games like Masters.

Why would a multi billion dollar company care about anything but making money? When companies get big they correctly become soulless, not saying that there can't be people there who want to make a quality product, but they're outnumbered by those who care only about profit and are willing to sacrifice quality to do so.
