I'm not aware of anybody on a payroll being unable to make the disclaimer of "this is a paid promotion". whenever I see that, I tend to discard that opinion as quickly as a plain shill, but with no malice behind it. It's that asshole in the corner of the room with the stick that keeps poking your closest asscheek wanting your attention because stepping on his button makes him a penny type that people seem to hate. hating a mindless defense force that downplays your general concerns and attempts to bury it, even if a lot of people are aggressive about what they dislike to begin with, is also something to hate as a whole. that's my interpretation of the mindsets anyway.
