What if Pokémon Home included a battle simulator, where you could use your boxed Pokémon, like an official Pokémon Showdown? Would that redeem GameFreak?

I wouldn't benefit from it but it'd be a start. If they had something like the BF then I'd start caring. I'd have to ask why they didn't just add it in the main games though.

Since Pokemon from Go and Let's Go will be migratable into Home I'm really wondering if Home isn't a prison but a meat processing plant. In those games you're encouraged to catch a metric fuckton of useless Pokes to trade in for candy. A lot of hardcore competitive breeders will hatch dozens of eggs looking for perfect natures and IVs, so Bank probably has a bunch of near-perfect hatchlings clogging the system. Are we going to be encouraged to grind up our extra 3rd-7th genners along with the Go trash? Because they'd better give us something better than candy for it.

Battles + Pokemon Amie + Stadium Minigames + Housing minigame where you see your pokemons roaming around your home + furniture cashshop and it would be a Postgame for all future games. GF could shit out new games for story only + catching new mons and then move to HOME for postgame. 10/10 idea
