>>39298213Not always autism. I like doing nuzlockes once in a while because it makes the pokemon you catch feel way more valuable, especially if your first encounter is something rare. It's a rush. It also gives you an excuse to use weak pokemon, for example in a normal run I would rarely use patrat since I know its outclassed so soon, but in a nuzlocke you think of fun ways to bring out the most from them, resulting it fun gimmicky strategies you might not have otherwise tried.
It's also very easy to pick up and play. You dont have to plan out teams or try for certain natures and abilities, you just catch and go.
Lastly, it's just plain more challenging. When my pokemon faints, I just put them in a certain PC box instead of releasing them. So nothing's really lost or deleted.
I dont get all emotionally into it like some do. It's just a fun break from a normal game and you always end up using new pokemon and combinations.
