Maybe not in pure programming mechanics (i say maybe because the game hasnt been released), but in terms of asset recycling, empty promises, an amateur quality in a new format, removal of features with foolish excuses to justify, and a reliance on their fanbase and past glory, id say its following Fallout 76 pretty well

If the game becomes a horrible buggy mess that bricks consoles at launch. Then yes, but Nintendo won't allow that (thankfully).
If Elder Scrolls 6 ends up having dragons and constantly refers to Skyrim just like Elder Scrolls Online did with Elsweyr, then also yes because Skyrim kiddies are just as bad as genwunners.

My first thought comparing the two would actually be the amount of ROM hacking and hex tweaking as a reason to not consider certain design elements. E.g. ORAS doesn't need to give any thought to difficulty because those who have a MIGHTY NEED for it will make and distribute fan patches, and while unlike Bethesda modding Pokemon game tweaking is entirely unofficial and usually involves piracy, most of these people will probably buy the game as released anyway. They both have reoccurring technical sins, but they are different ones, and if nothing else I can count on a Game Freak game not to crash with any frequency.

Though comparing most anything to Fallout 76 is unfair.

Release one gen then release another version a year after that’s slightly altered and has maybe 1 hour of new content at full price

Ultra sun moon and bw2 were nothing hut recycled assets

Bethesda Tries to change up and improve the gameplay with every elder scrolls. Pokemon never did snything new except one or two additions which were removed in the games that came after
