Here is how to delete every apologist's argument

No.39305947 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
>Let people play how they want to!
Game Freak is not letting some fans play how they want to. Your argument is invalid.

>Stop telling me how to spend my money! You have no right!
I am perfectly within my rights to tell you what you should not spend your money on if I have reason to believe that you will directly contribute to harming the franchise.

>I don't care about the National Dex! I'm going to buy and enjoy it!
Then you should also be clamoring for Game Freak to do better. You do not even have to have distaste for the games to recognize that Game Freak is being scummy. It's not black and white. Just like you will buy these games and enjoy them, you will buy these games and anger me because you are choosing to make a poor decision with no concern for the franchise's future.

>You just hate Pokemon!
People who hate Pokemon don't boycott Pokemon. They don't even buy the games in the first place.

>Not everyone needs to collect every single Pokemon!
But some people do. Dismissing dedicated fans who collect living dexes as unimportant is extremely hostile and harmful behavior.

>Not particularly targeted towards any specific claim:
Game Freak does not care about their dedicated fans. They have acknowledged the fact that "video game fans" (their words) are angry about the changes, and did not state that they have any plans to rectify this. This is scummy behavior. This is literally (as in the dictionary definition of literally) indefensible behavior if you care about other Pokemon fans.
