But the idea of not every pokemon being in the game, is not something that majorly bothers me. Eventually we're going to have upwards of 1000 pokemon, having them all would just be cluttered.
I'd much rather have a selection that fits the region desu. It's kinda like how Mario games don't have every single power-up they have ones that fit the overall design of the game.
The real issue here is that gamefreak are too incompotent and lazy to make smart picks and the entire rest of the game is shit and lacking features.
