>>39308515Starters are generic starters, they've never interested me.
The box legendaries are absolutely horrible, easily the worst of any box legendaries, which is saying a lot.
Gossifleur and Eldegoss are very bland and don't stand out in any way whatsoever. We already have a cotton-inspired plantmon and Gossifleur looks like any other grass type's first form.
Wooloo is just a round sheep. Another very uninteresting design. Not BAD, just not interesting in any way.
Corviknight's alright; it treads lightly on Scarmory's territory, but I think it can stand on its own. It feels strange that it's a single-form pokemon though, it looks like it should really have a first form.
Drednaw is almost a good design but I absolutely cannot get over that stupid fucking robot head or the tube feet.
Alcremie is, again, a bland design that doesn't stand out. It's just Slurpuff but with some of Lilligant put into it. It's especially bland knowing that it won't evolve, it really looks like it should. Its gigantamax form isn't particularly interesting either, it just gets cakes to stand on top of.
Yamper is awful. Why mix a completely natural palette with hideous neon yellow/neon green coloring? And it's obviously just designed to be a cutemon to appeal to normies and sell merch.
Rolycoly is the only pokemon shown whatsoever that has potential. This initial form is bland, but so is every other first-stage rock type. The potential for a fast attacker rock type that isn't a complete glass cannon is exciting. However we'll have to just wait and see, Game Freak has ruined potential plenty of times before.
Duraludon is fucking awful. It's impossible to tell what it's supposed to be from the first impression until you see its awkward, dopey attack animation where it flips its head open like a pez dispenser to attack.
I'm not the biggest fan of generic-kaiju-mons but this design would be far better if it had a more animal-like design and wasn't this stupid fucking inorganic tube thing.
