I mean in all seriousness mimikyu, klefki, and even syleveon are all stretching the boundaries for fairy. Sylveon is in the same boat as Alcreamie, fairy because they are cute and pink.
I don't think it's uninteresting at all. To me it looks like an average single evolution Pokemon, has a nice charm to it. Unlike some other Pokemon this generation *ahem* the dragon steel and pile of coal.
