There's two main stadiums shown in the trailer. The main way to tell the difference between them is their tops. Some shots are in the Rose Stadium in London (which is likely where the Championship Cup happens) and you can see the petals of the rose tipping over the outside of the arena at the top.
In that image, they're actually in the Red City Stadium. You can tell cause you can see the brick at the top of the stadium. Pic related is also there.
This seems to be the cutscene that happens when you start the league. You likely go to the Red City first, meet Rose, and they have a big opening ceremony for the league (there's a similar shot on the website where he's straight out saying it's the start of the league).
So all trainers gather and start in the Red City, then go out on their gym challenge quest. We likely will meet our rivals there, but I doubt we see them in that clip.
