Design HOME in a way it'd make you more or less okay with Dexit being a thing for SwSh and for every new game from now on.
Which features would you add? How would the app work?

Fully playable battles with different challenges like battle frontier as well as vs real people
Way to level up, ev train, hyper train, teach new moves
Some pokemon amie type of thing
Not 60 fucking dollars

It won't happen because gamefreak is lazy but if it did I would be okay with dexit

I want a spiritual successor to the 5th gen Dream World. A furniture system, a little garden, minigames, and a chance to find new Pokemon with weird traits.

I also want a metric shitload of new games of various genres that Pokemon can transfer in and out of. They can be stupid and low quality, so long as they're not glitchy and we get a broad choice of things to do. Let me transfer my ancient 3rd genners into a new Mystery Dungeon, for example.

Pokémon Home is basically locking your Pokémon in permanently with no way out unless a mainline game just so happens to include them.
Then there’s an additional cost on top of your Nintendo switch Online service to even have this.

At minimum they should all be fully modeled and able to be interacted with Pokémon Amie/Refresh style.

If they fucking don’t and people somehow defend this bullshit of never interacting with your Pokémon ever again unless they survive the purge, then you absolutely deserve to be called a drone and/or apologist

You can choose pokemon to show on your phone as a screen protector. Every time you open your phone the wallpaper is a moving pokemon who will react to your interaction. Your alarms, sound, etc, can be specialized to be pokemon calling.

Give it some sort of Battle Frontier type thing with all 10 facilities. If they absolutely have to, just start with the Tower and add the rest in updates.

this would be perfect, even with sprites and basic animations (although GO uses the 3D for battles, but the battles suck). Then again, this has two problems:

I'm not worried about Home not having a National Dex. Bank already has it.

What I would like is a way to raise Pokemon in the app.

Another thing I hope for eventually is compatability with a New Pokemon Stadium for Switch and Mobile where one can battle other trainers online using all the Pokemon.

GameFreak made that not possible anymore with their decision to not include all Pokemon in their future titles.
