i've caught two shiny pokemon, but one of them was on an emulator. they were just random wild pokemon, i'm not a breeder autist.

Never cought one and I don't do Pokemon breeding.
I've used a lot of repels and what not so I'm not that surprised. Personaly I loathe people who shiny hunt, not many things in this world are as brain dead and plain out boring as shiny hunting.

The only full odds shiny I found was on my brother's copy of Ruby, it was a Duskull. I killed it and spent another 2 hours looking for it, I didn't know what it was. It never came back. It became a joke between us, the "Red Duskull" that got away.

Fast forward to XY when I bred a shiny one for his Omega Ruby playthrough. Those were good times.
