Reminder all of this is done because of spergs and meme faggots. The games look good and are an actual huge step compared to sun moon.

Gamefreak made models for this complete world and not just the pokemons. They did at least 100 monster designs plus this whole world. Also let´s don´t forget that some models are different like the gen5 normal one

This is what you retards don't understand, stop comparing pokemon games to previous pokemon games. OF COURSE this game looks better than sun and moon, but that doesn't mean shit. We are thinking bigger. Finally, a new pokemon title for the switch, on a console, and what do we get? An upgraded 3ds game. This new sword and shield game is complete shit, we've seen what the switch can do, yet this game hardly looks different from the previous 3ds titles. Same pokemon models, terrible move animations, unscaled pokemon. Really Game Freak? Unscaled pokemon on an HD console? Not only that but this game effectively has less content than the 3ds games, considering they're removing hundreds of pokemon. And here's the real kicker, it cost $60 this time around. They are charging more money for something that looks like a 3ds port on the switch, that's fucking insane. We've seen mario and zelda step their game up for their debut switch title, it's obvious to see. You really call this new pokemon game a massive step anon?

Funny considering how most people who played the demo said it felt a lot like Sun and Moon. SWSH look like SM with slightly more work, I honestly wouldn't even bet against this shit being playable on the 3DS. these are going to be far from the BotW and Odyssey of Pokemon and sadly that's already evident only a few trailers in

Having 1000+ pokemon in the natdex is just so fucking ridiculous. Cmon, if we continue adding more and more pokemon to it it will just be impossible to complete, or at the very least tedious and repetitive. There is no point in buying a 60$ game if it is just to conplete the natdex. And if you do so than look at pic related

It's 2019, and GF can't make every single mon available IN GALAR a unique animation that shows them using the move instead of lazily rotates the Pokemon.
For example, if Blaziken uses Blaze Kick, it lits its leg on fire and actually kicks the opponent, not hops a little and a cartoon leg shows up.

Z-Moves => being given new "berserk" move
that lasted 3 turns. How is it any different?
Its new feature(s) are ability-like area effects like weather and items scattered in the field (stealth rocks etc)

Dynamax is even worse. It's literally (Yes, LITERALLY) just gets bigger.

But that's not even a real comparison because regionals and regular evolutions do that too. That being said Megas did the appearance change the worse as all the designs look cluttered and try hard
