At the end of the day, LGPE are extreme asset flip remakes with less-than-minimum effort put into them and probably costed GameFreak a a few cents to develop, so literally any sales can be considered a solid profit.

It's hilarious you're going to say a brand new Generation in Sun/Moon sold better (notice how you conveniently didn't make mention of Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, the games that were the most direct predecessor to Let's Go) than a Yellow remake with GO mechanics, and also neglect to mention how Let's Go was on hardware with a much, MUCH smaller installed base, and noticeably more expensive ($60 vs. $40.)

Trying to spin Let's Go as a commercial flop shows the intellectually dishonesty many on this board have, and we can fully expect the same later this year when Sword/Shield sells like 12 million or whatever. "Not as much as Red/Blue, told you faggots, oh no no it's over for Game Freak!"
