- There's no high quality animations
- There's no console-tier graphics.
- everything is recycled.
- Cutting content for space is a big lie because they are lazy updating textures
- Gigantimax, while advertised as a new mechanics, it's only for very few Pokemon and only in Raid Battles.

They are, just not the best Switch can do. It is awful compared to BotW, but so are most of Switch games.
Have you played Yoshi's Crafted World? It's a lovely game, but you can literally see how pixelated the details on the background are.

And don't even get me started on Fire Emblem Three Houses

Gamefreak said they were focusing on Switch's handheld mode, so they didn't even bother making the games to look good on TVs.

I'm buying it used. The novelty of exploring a new Region and getting to know all the new Pokemon won't wear off anytime soon, atleast for me, but atleast I can still help out those who absolutely refuse to buy these games due to GF's incompetence by ensuring my money goes to wherever I'll buy it from and not Gamefreak.
