Sandshrew was love at first sight in my first playthrough as a kid. When it evolved into Sandslash I about lost my damn mind. Cool, cute, simple, strong.
Favorite Type: Ground
Good bulk and great offense. Basically the offensive tank stereotype. Back in Red/Blue it certainly helped that a lot of the coolest (kaiju) mons were Ground-type, not to mention my favorite Sandslash. Designs have diversified a lot since then, but find myself loving just about every Ground Pokemon for different reasons. Except Landorus and Rhyperior.

Favourite type: It's a toss up between fire, ground, and dragon.
I like fire types because they have high BP moves that hit a lot of types and I like smashing things.
I like ground types because earthquake has high BP, good coverage, access to edgequake, and I like smashing things.
I like dragon types because they have huge stats and good resistances with great neutral coverage, and I like smashing things.

My favourite Pokemon is Arcanine because he's cute.

Ice types and water types are my favorite, they're a combination of comfy and powerful!

Weavile is my favorite. It was the Pokemon that got me back into the series after quitting at Silver. Saw my little sis watching Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and instantly fell in love with the cute little shits.

Gumshoos is my favourite mon. I loved him as soon as I saw him. The detective theme is subtle and his ability can be stakeout and he learns moves like pursuit and odour sleuth. My only wish is that he gets into Galar and maybe has a regional form based off of Sherlock Holmes.

My favourite type is Fairy. I loved reading fantasy and fairtales as a kid. I love that the mons are based off of mythologies and fairytales.

Arcanine is probably still my favorite, though it seems to change often. I like dogs.
I may or may not have bought LGP so I could ride around on one.

As for favorite type, idk really. Probably fire or poison, honestly.
