>>39353671- Make Rock do neutral damage to Bug. As explained before, this serves to nerf Rock as an offensive type, while buffing Bug as a defensive type.
- Make Rock not very effective against Grass. (Previously explained.)
- Overall these changes would make Rock a good defensive type, and a bad but not unusable offensive type.
>Psychic- Ever since Gen 2, Psychic has been pretty bad overall. But with a few tweaks, it can be balanced.
- Make Psychic resist Fairy. Psychic main problem is that it is a horrible defensive type, while Fairy is a bit too good offensively, so why not kill two birds with one stone.
- Make Psychic resist Flying. Flying is a tad too strong offensively and needs a slight nerf, while Psychic would greatly benefit from this new resistance.
- These changes would make Psychic a good defensive type while not being the strongest offensively.
Nerfs:
>Fairy- The best type overall right now, being great offensively and amazing defensively. Being super effective against three types (Dark, Dragon, and Fighting) and only resisted by three types (Fire, Poison, Steel.) Defensively it resists three types and is immune to one. While only being weak to two types, Steel and Poison.
- Make Fairy weak to Bug. As explained before, this would buff Bug offensively, while making Fairy not only lose a resistance, but gaining a weakness as well.
- Make Fairy not be very effective against Psychic. Explained previously.
- Overall these changes would make Fairy a more defensive based type.
>Steel- Despite getting nerfed in Gen 6, Steel is still easily the best defensive type. It is arguably a bit too good in fact, so I would nerf it defensively and offensively.
- Make Steel take neutral damage from Grass. Explained previously.
- Make Steel do neutral damage against Rock. In the shift of making Rock a more defensive type, Steel was tied with Ground as being the best options to do so. Furthermore, this makes Steel worse offensively.
