If you play Pokemon Go and like it, it's pretty what Let's Go is all about but with overworld encounter and trainer battles in Kanto region. It's alright I guess.

It's good if you are looking for a lite pokemon experience or just transitioning from go to the rpgs. I would say Black and White is a better starting point in general as it incorporates a lot more mechanics that are in the other games and difficulty is more on par with the other games (LGPE is really easy). But this is good start nonetheless

It's solid, but nothing Earth shattering. The legendary Pokemon battles are really cool though, and the presentation is good. I had a good time playing it, but I don't think I'll play it again.

I recommend going picking Pokemon you don't always use, go set mode, don't use candies, or the starters with maxed IVs and just enjoy the comfy.

not worth the money. it looks nice and has following/rideable pokemon, but thats where the positives end unless you like motion controls and mobile games.

If you get it, I'd make some recommendations:

>battle style: set
>don't use the pikachu or eevee
>don't use the stat boosting candy other than rare candies
>don't do catch combos til post-game

do that the game is pretty challenging and really fun.

It's fun. The graphics are certainly better than Pokemon had ever been before, the gameplay is wierd but after the same shit for 20 years I don't mind the switch up. There's not a ton of content, but it's overall fun
