if you don't wanna go for the contest or the towers then don't do it, it's all up to you, there is no reward in the end other than the satisfaction of knowing you traveled with your littlle buddy to every region possiible
also if you are going for contest, they are not that hard just make sure to get some good berries from mt, battle while you are in colosseum
