Here is what I did in order to get my pic;
>Use the eyedropper tool to get the color you want
>Then use the bucket tool to color in the parts you want (using it on certain areas can keep the shading intact)
>Repeat the first two until you get finished with the different colors
>If necessary, use the brush and adjust the size to get any pixels that didn't change with the right color chosen via the eyedropper
I kept the two images of the Pokémon involved on separate layers to get the second one's colors for when I needed them, then deleted said second Pokémon player after all the eyedropper/bucket was done

Well essentially you just generate two (2) Pokemon.
Then you copy the color selection from the second Pokemon unto the first while matching up sections for color, allowing for some creative liberties, as long as its within the spirit of the color scheme.

For me, It's eye dropper+paint bucket, then psuedo shading plus lightness/contrast manipulation.

Put enough psuedo shading in it, people usually overlook mistake made with Paint bucket.

i just used Aseprite to replace colors with a little bit of clean up because Cherrim had random yellow bits in the mouth

Neat idea.
First Pokemon was Serperior, second was Voltorb. I tried to recolor, but I couldn't do it right, and simply adjusting the hue made it look nothing like a Serperior with Voltorb's colors. It ended up having a bunch of pink and purple shades instead of being all red and white. So I'll just have to leave you to imagine a red and white Serperior.

Yeah, that's how it should look. Thanks. I actually think it looks nice like that.
For the record, pic related was what happened when I adjusted the hue to try and make it red and white. It didn't turn out right, but I like this color scheme regardless.
