>>39353166Confirm patches. If they just say "hey there's only some in now but we'll add the rest later" it will soften a lot of the blow of the title. or have dlc to add additional content into the game like more new pokémon to collect or a new area to visit to add more content in general
Yes, the graphics, story, characters, writing, etc. can improve but considering they're meant to be role playing games for younger demographics. I think you need to keep the story, characters and writing targeted towards children for them to stay engaged
>Graphics is something RPGs aren't really known for and considering only recently did we get games like persona 5, dragon quest xi, etc. which are really great looking rpgs. Considering how conservative GF is. Unless they see a dramatic drop in profits (spoilers: they won't) or the entire staff change, that's not going to happen. No matter how many people scream at them they're not going to do anything to improve. People have to show them tough love (i.e. talking with their wallets) in order for them to get their act together
>Not appealing to long time fansWhile yes, they should have cared for long time fans most. In order for a company to stay afloat they need new fans. They can't keep pandering to the old ones because eventually they'll grow out of it. Which is why they're doing stuff like not having a national dex in the game is because they want it to be more appealing to new people instead of them being intimidated with over 900 pokémon they feel the need to catch. This has happen way before swsh considering the games (especially the 3ds games) are way more simple for newcomers
So for things they actually should improve is making the games have more difficulty options, post-game content and other things that most rpgs have done for ages (i.e. have sidequests, post-game content, story choices, etc.)
