If a Pokemon is masculine in appearance, I have to catch/breed for a male.
If a Pokemon is feminine in appearance, I have to catch/breed for a female.
If a Pokemon's design is unisex, I go for a male.
So a Machamp always has to be a male, an Oricorio always has to be female, and Pokemon like Reuniclus that could go either way I'd want to be a male.

This is a common one for me. Especially in 4th gen where they had the comfy night time music. Unsurprisingly, another idea that gamefreak abandonned.

You must have loved XYs ball shop.
That's the only time i would consider doing that. Buying 10 Pokeballs to get 1 Premier Ball sounds exhausting and money wasting.
Another autistic thing i do is giving Pokémon that you use for ingame trades a shitty nickname. Just because it seems funny to me to send a dude a Pokémon called N1GG3R. Even though its just going to an NPC.

I always think about what pokemon I'll use before even starting the game. I catch mons exclusively from the region I'm playing (i.e. I only use mons from Jotho while playing HGSS and mons like Crobat don't count because Zubat and Golbat are from KANTOOOOO). I always want a good nature, so most of the time I waste an absurd amount of time looking for the ideal pokemon. I also have a thing for pokemon without evolutionary lines. You know, Maractus, Farfetch'd, Pinsir... I remember wasting over 8 hours catching a Chimecho on RSE, but then it got a preevolution in DPPt and I replaced it. I transfer all my teams from game to game. I still have a couple of boxes full of previous teams in SM

At least I don't have the male/female or the shiny branch of autism
