Small things like HGSS's gameboy sounds, and places that you dont actually need to go to like the little places next to the Village bridge in BW, shit like that adds way more value to exploration. I loved those things as a kid

Being able to revisit previous regions post-game. I had a little bit of hope that, with current advances in technology, that we might actually see something like this in the form of dlc packages, but with the national dex getting culled it now seems like that'll just remain a dream.

How has the core gameplay of pokemon changed at all since Red and Blue? You still walk down routes, battle wild pokemon and trainers in the same exact 4-moves, bag, switch pomeon, or run setup we've had since the beginning with gyms and a minor story with an evil team slowing your goal of being champion.

I think the undergound could have been even better if you could actually traverse the overworld by going up somewhere other than where you went down, you just need some doors that only unlock from one side to make a decent way of sidestepping HM obstacles in the overworld.

It's jot a feature exactly, but I'm really miss the glitches. Missingno and glitch city, they felt like real life creepypastas, illicit complex rituals that made the games behave in strange spooky ways. Running into that stuff as a kid was such a unique feeling.
