Watching that bootleg video made me realize why battles in the games are so sluggish. How could the games be streamlined in other ways in or out of battle?

Change the camera angle and speed up the animations

Make the move animations resemble their anime counterparts

That'd go along way to make battle feel faster and more kinetic like they should be

Lessen the amount of text used when animations are on, If the Pokemon faints, we don't need a text scroll saying it fainted that needs confirmation of being read to progress. The text that remains should only be up as long as the animation plays, if accessibility is an issue then at least make it an option in the settings like Switch/Set.
