What's the Buy/No Buy deciding Pokemon for you? For me it's the Fennekin line, specifically for Braixen and Delphon Dynamaxing. No Fennekin line, no buy.

I just want an actual polished game with all the pokemon, which SwSh doesn't look to be

Less pokemon feels like a regression and lessens what it has over other JRPGs

Literally any quality of life improvement will make me forgive everything. an option to skip the tutorials being most important

After 20 years they still cant figure out how to design for adults and children at the same time. I barely care about the pokedex, it's just what woke me up to pokemon being trash anyway

Ideally i need all the pokemon,but after thinking a lot about it i just want my aipom and infernape, i was so happy when grookey was revealed but my hype died when i knew i wouldn't be able to play with all of my ape and monkey pokemon

The elemental unova monkeys are dead for sure i really learned to like all of them over the years

It's about the fact that things ARE getting cut in the first place.
It represents the franchise abandoning its core principle, and I will never buy a main series game without all the Pokémon in it.

This is the only reason to care, but it's the reason you should care.
Bitching about the dex for any other reason is just bandwagoning. There's never been a region with every crossgen mon, and the only reason it's relevant now is everything else being cut content.

Yell is already a sub-par name for the region theme when it could be "Team Oi!" without even causing a cultural break for the Japanese audience.

I can agree the starters had better have good mid-forms though, especially when first-forms are more chibified every new gen. SS is the first game where all three starters are 0.3m
