Why does nobody seem to like this pokemon? The waifufags should be all over this shit, yet almost everybody hates it's design. I mean, why hate on meloetta but no gardevoir for example?

being stuck as a slow special attacker for a turn in addition to requiring a special move being run just kills its viability

It suffers from the same problem that Lopunny(at least before the mega made it useable) and alcremie have. Gardevoir for example is this angel thing with many bizarre qualities like the heart thing or egg grouping. We also had many sound mons before jigglypuff is a gen 1 staple, exploud is a kaijumon, people could scream whatever for chatot,and noivern afterwards is a bat dragon and meloetta is just a anime girl

You can give Gardevoir big tits, but giving Meloetta big tits gets your an oppai loli...and usually those are made beforehand and a loli doesn't become an oppoi loli afterwards.
