No. Just put together a new PC this year and not only is Pokemon coming at a steep price it's cutting content. I'd have to buy a Switch, buy Switch's online subscription, buy the $60 game itself, and pay the Home blackmail fee too.

All for the chance to not use my favorite Pokemon. I play monotype online and I just can't stomach my team options being cut in half when they're limited already.

Undecided, but if the main attraction had already been shown, definitely going to buy it used or borrow it. Already completed my National Dex and all Regional Dexes thus far, don't really care what's been cut and what hasn't. I'm more concerned that the game's structure is for the main storyline again instead of replayable postgames.
I also do not care about missing Pokémon like OP, my favorites have already been confirmed and even then I use a brand new team every playthrough. Graphics are whatever, never gave a fuck about them anyways and animations are just a slight upgrade if not direct ports. Wild areas and raid battles look fun, especially if we can do things like have dedicated tanks and supports and attackers, and we also don't know the extent of the features in the Wild Area. If the Crowne Point leak was real, instant day 1 buy from me.

I'm waiting for Ultra Sword or whatever comes next. I'm burned out after playing through Alola twice in a row, and even though this is not a tropical region and it's higher def with some new features it just feels the same with a lot of flaws. I'll download the free demo if there is one but I'm holding off at least a year before considering buying a used copy.

The game really isn't what I thought it would be so far, and the apparently framerate drops in single battles really disappoint me because it's a clear sign that Triple and Rotation Battles are still not ever coming back.

Yeah, I'll probably just buy one whereas pre-USUM I used to buy both version (eventually, usually one on release and one a year later). With the whole Switch having multiple profiles thing, I won't need multiple copies.

My wife and her sister are just going to share my copy of the game, as neither of them really want to buy it.

SM/USUM were the only games I played on release and it really didn't enhance the experience. I regret buying both but the whole fear of missing out sucked me in. Not anymore. I don't need to play the games to get the memes, and most of the content is spoiled the day they come out anyways.

Yes, because otherwise my relative won't have someone to trade with. I like new pokemon and Galar region look quite nice. It's not like I ever transfer or completed national pokedex\x before so yeah, missing pokemon don't really bother me.
