Feraligatr can function similarly to Gyarados, but lacks a lot of the things that makes Gyarados so threatening. Still, it's a solid option and is actually better at taking the ice beams and ice shards that get aimed at Mega Sceptile.

If anything, Stall being a weak composition is what makes it so powerful in high elo; players don't feel like they need to come prepared for it since it's not as prevalent, which leads to them losing at team preview when they aren't properly prepared.
