It is physically possible, yes, but not recommended. I'd say play BW, give it some time and play BW2. This way you can appreciate the improvements/expansions BW2 gives Unova.

they're both completely different experiences, even though they take place in the same region, it doesn't feel like that, and the stories complement each other so well, you should definitely play BW1 before. Until this day, the best storytelling you'll see in the core games
