Add to that the constant shitposting war we got between him and Incineroar for more than 3 years and you have a good explanation of why he's so hated on /vp/.
Also, Greninja is what Decidueye could ever hope to be and the owl will probably for ever live in the shadow of the frog for the rest of its existence.
