Still pretty excited. The national dex cut doesn't affect me at all really. The only Pokemon I love that I feel are in serious danger of being cut are the Porygon and Altaria lines. Maybe Slowpoke, but probably not.

We don't know enough to say if we're getting anything in return or not. In all honesty, I actually LIKE a smaller dex, because now I have a chance to get everything. No more bullshit mythicals that were distributed in one game 10 years ago. I also feel as though from a development perspective, this was going to happen some time. Better for it to happen now when we have less than 1000 pokemon, than in the future when he have 2000+.

It’s Pokemon and these trailers did a poor job at hooking people in compared to Gen 7 that showed off Team Skull and maybe Ultra Beasts by now.

do we know how dynamaxing works buff-wise yet?
I'm afraid it's just gonna add flat numbers to each stat so it'll only be useful for the pokemon that are already pretty strong. hopefully it's something like "the lower the BST, the bigger the stat boost" or something so hitting a sweetspot of like 300-400 will be more important than being a 600+ bst OUmon

You think this was the end of event pokemon? Good luck getting the next JP only event.
Also, they could have made event pokemon available at any point if they wanted, like they did with Deoxys.
But you prefer they just remove content entirely, instead of making it more available? What a shitty line of logic.

Why? Once they had the models down, they would be free to add in the next game and the game after that. We are only in this position because Gamefreak is incompetent.

Impidimp. Has the one type combination I've been looking forward to most in the entire game. I like Dark-type Pokemon and we rarely had full-fledged demons, so this could be our first real devil Pokemon.

Probably Tyranitar as it already had that gigantic Tyranitar robot in B2W2, and it is also a kaiju.

I don't understand, anyone can complete a regional dex easy, completing the nat dex is something not too many people try to do. Reducing the nat dex doesn't suddenly make finishing the regional dex easier.
