So is there any other reason besides laziness that GF doesn't want to patch pokemon in after the games come out? I seriously feel like this whole dexit thing could be calmed down with them just patching them in at a later date

It's a business model. How else are you gonna get anyone to pay for Home, if they can just keep everyone in Swooshie?

I barely used Pokemon Bank, and only did when I needed to transfer mons over, which I did like once, and then never paid again.
