Do you seriously want them to say "We're cutting pokémon because we want to trap your favorites in our paid subscription service until we release a game for you to transfer them to. That way you'll have reasons to both keep paying us so we don't delete your pokémon and buy every game we release in order to be able to use the pokémon you like. We're also not doing anything too big graphics- or animation-wise because we know you don't care about that, and even if you do care and complain about it, you'll still buy it anyway, like you've done with our previous subpar games".
